GloboLakes is a five year research programme investigating the state of lakes and their response to climatic and other environmental drivers of change at a global scale using long-term satellite observations.
We have now selected 991 lakes/reservoirs from around the world based upon a number of criteria. Find the full list here.

The GloboLakes team have just returned from a joint field campaign on Lake Vanern where we looked at satellite validation and measurement intercomparisons with colleagues from the GLaSS project.
